The science of stillness

How often do you just sit in complete silence with no phone and no background music playing? Do you still just sit for longer than 5 minutes to let God speak and you just listen? Stillness is not about switching off but it is about tunning in. With stillness comes surrender and God will have an open channel to work through you. Can i challenge you today to sit for more than 10min in complete silence with just you and your thoughts, try and silence your thoughts and just listen to nature. This will be you taking stock of where you are at and how your nervous system can be calmed. The bible says "Be still" if we continue to be on the go and not sit still we are not allowing God to speak. Stillness comes with so much peace as well.
